Skyy Moore (abdomen) is doubtful for Super Bowl LIX against the Eagles.

Moore remains on injured reserve because of the abdomen injury he suffered in October. He was designated to return last week but never progressed past a limited practice. The Chiefs could activate him over the weekend, but all signs point to the two-time Super Bowl champ sitting this one out. Moore did not catch a pass in his third NFL season and will be heading for a roster spot during the summer.

Moore has a chance to be activated off of injured reserve in time for the Super Bowl, but even if he is activated, his contributions are expected to be minimal. Moore has now been limited in back-to-back practices to start the week. We’ll likely know his availability before the weekend.

Chiefs designated WR Skyy Moore (core) to return from injured reserve.

Moore suffered a core injury back in October and hasn’t played since. It seems highly unlikely the third-year pro will be activated from injured reserve for the Super Bowl, but even if he is, he wasn’t playing a meaningful role before his injury. Moore’s stock has steadily declined every year since the Chiefs made him a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He caught zero passes in six games this season before his injury.
