2024 Player Outlook
It was another disappointing season for Freiermuth as he not only underperformed but he also missed a huge chunk of games with injury. The bright side for 2024 is that Diontae Johnson, who commanded around 9 targets a game over the last four years, has been traded to the Carolina Panthers which opens up targets in Pittsburgh. The combination of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at QB can't be worse than Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky so there is a glimmer of hope for Freiermuth going into this season.
