2024 Player Outlook

It's crazy to think that Tyreek Hill could have had an even BETTER season than the 119 receptions, 1,799 yards, and 13 touchdowns that he finished with. In Week 14 he hurt his ankle on a horse collar tackle, missed a game, and clearly wasn't the same after. The Dolphins should continue to heavily feature Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle so Hill should be a focal point of the offense once again. He did just turn 30 years old this offseason but, outside of the injury, he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down.

Dolphins GM Chris Grier said the Dolphins are not “pursuing” a trade of Tyreek Hill and no team has called them to attempt to trade for Hill.

Grier joked in the presser that if somebody calls to offer them two first-round picks they’d consider it, but unfortunately for him Bill O’Brien can only offer NIL money at this time. Hill’s recent domestic dispute with his wife likely has teams skittish regarding a potential trade for the speedy wideout. Denials don’t always mean what is on the tin — and the fact that Grier said no team had contacted them as far as a trade for Hill could be viewed as him seeking a market — but as of now it looks more likely than not that Hill will return as Miami’s No. 1 receiver in 2025.

FOX Sports 640’s Andy Slater reports that “the NFL has requested the 911 audio from the” recent domestic dispute involving Tyreek Hill.

Per a follow-up report from NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk, “the NFL could take action under the Personal Conduct Policy, regardless of whether no action is taken against Hill in the criminal justice system.” The NFL, however, does not have subpoena power, so participation by the requestees must be voluntary.

Local 10 News’ Rosh Lowe and Ryan Mackey report Tyreek Hill was “involved in a domestic dispute with his wife at his high-rise condominium in Sunny Isles Beach on Monday.”

Per the report, officers were called to Hill’s residence for an “assault in progress.” Officers spoke with Hill, his wife Keeta Hill, and his wife’s mother Alesia Vaccaro. The mother described Hill as “very aggressive and impulsive.” She also noted that she feared for her daughter’s safety. Hill reportedly threw a laptop on the floor then grabbed his daughter and began walking toward the balcony of their residence. Vaccaro called the police at this point. Hill was not arrested and his wife declined to provide a written statement to police. Though it’s another ugly incident for Hill, no charges were filed by the police, meaning it’s unlikely anything more comes from this.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said the team is “fully planning to move forward” with Tyreek Hill on the roster in 2025.

Hill again hinted at a trade over the weekend after nearly two months of silence on the subject. Following the Dolphins’ Week 18 game against the Jets, the veteran receiver strongly suggested he wanted to play elsewhere in 2025, only to have his agent say days later that he was “committed” to the team heading into next year. McDaniel added that he has no reason to believe Hill won’t be on the team, but we’ll see how things progress from here. Hill, 31, continues to come off as a disgruntled player despite McDaniel suggesting everybody is perfectly gruntled. We’ve seen this play before. Hill carries a cap hit of just over $27.5 million this season, but that number balloons to $51.9 million in 2026, which could make him difficult to move in a trade as he’s likely headed for a decline. We may not know until offseason programs begin where things truly stand behind Hill and the Dolphins.
