Luke Kornet played 26 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Wizards, finishing with 13 points (6-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds and three assists.
Luke Kennard turned in a solid line on Monday with eight points (4-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, eight assists and two steals against the Kings.
With Ja Morant sidelined, Kennard took on the role of facilitator for Memphis. This was his second-straight start, but it wasn’t a productive one outside of the assist boost. This was Kennard’s fifth game this season with at least eight dimes, but he wasn’t able to reach his season-high of 11. Kennard has upside as long as he is starting, but the production hasn’t been there consistently for him. He is known for his deep-range shooting, so while the assist numbers are fun, Kennard not hitting a triple is disappointing.
Luke Kennard amassed 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer in 29 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Heat.
Luke Kennard had 30 points (11-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and seven 3-pointers against the Jazz on Wednesday.
