Mitch White has agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract with the SSG Lenders in the Korea Baseball Organization.
The 29-year-old right-hander was well-traveled during the 2024 season, seeing big league action with the Blue Jays, Brewers and Giants before he was sent outright to Triple-A in early June. He’ll attempt to rebuild his stock with a strong season overseas.

White had been designated for assignment last week to clear a spot on the Brewers’ roster for Kevin Herget. He’ll report to Triple-A Nashville though and continue to function as additional bullpen depth for the club.

The 29-year-old was acquired from the Giants on May 10th. He made six appearances out of the bullpen for the Brewers, allowing six earned runs on eight hits in 8 1/3 innings. White has now been on three teams already in 2024, posting a 7.23 ERA in 23 2/3 innings as a multi-inning reliever.

The 29-year-old right-hander is on the move once again after being designated for assignment by the Giants last weekend. He’s talented enough that teams are still willing to take a chance on him, but so far he just hasn’t been able to put it all together at the big league level.
