League of Legends DFS: Worlds Groups Day 3

Worlds Group Stage Day 3
Royal Never Give Up v Hanwha Life Esports
Mad Lions v LNG
Rogue v Fun Plus Phoenix
Fnatic v Paris Saints Germain
Team Liquid v Gen.G
Damwon Kia v Cloud9
Edward Gaming v Detonation FocusMe
T1 v 100Thieves
Worlds continues to impress with several great matchups on day 2 that highlighted the depth of several regions. While the LCS and LEC have fallen behind, the LCK and LPL continue to shine bright on the international stage.
Captain
Viper ($12,600)
We all love the underdog, but DFM has been downright awful in the group stage so far. From poor drafts to teamplay, DFM has been outclassed in groups so far. Viper has been his excellent ADC self and might have the best game of the tournament (so far) against DFM.
Alternatives to consider: Ghost ($12,000)
Top lane
Xiaohu ($6,800)
Morgan has been better than what he showed domestically, but he is heavily outclassed by Xiaohu. In terms of champ pool and style points, Xiaohu should have a field day against the HLE top laner. Otherwise, Hanabi is a really fun budget pick.
Alternatives to consider: Hanabi ($6,200)
Jungle
Canyon ($7,400)
The Damwon jungler is playing against an 0-2 Cloud9. While C9 will be desperate for a win, they have yet to show they can actually earn the honors after letting a W escape from their grasp against FPX. With blaber often failing to snowball early gains, Canyon should benefit the most in this matchup.
Alternatives to consider: Santorin ($5,800)
Mid lane
Maple ($7,400)
Maple has been on fire this tournament, and with Fnatic reeling from the loss of star ADC Upset, I really like Maple to have a signature game against Nisqy. Nisqy has been very subpar this tournament and may continue his struggles against the PSG standout. Otherwise, icon has a great matchup against Humanoid.
Alternatives to consider: icon ($6,800)
ADC
Gala ($8,200)
Gala has been a steady rock for RNG despite a loss against MAD Lions. Gala is good at getting his kills and assists and that is all that matters for fantasy purposes.
Alternatives to consider: Light ($7,200)
Support
Ming ($6,000)
Ming has been the bebop to Gala's rocksteady this tournament. Expect the star support to continue to put up BIG assist numbers. Otherwise, Iwandy or Kaiwing are worth consideration.
Alternatives to consider: Iwandy ($5,000)
Team
PSG Esports ($5,200)
I'll go out on a limb and say PSG have a great performance and really stretch the dollar you spend on them. A great team against a reeling Fnatic should take home a statement win. Otherwise, pick the easy route out and go Edward Gaming for the only lock today.
Alternatives to consider: Edward Gaming ($6,000)
